CASE for a new PhD student
The newly established Centre for Applied Sports Economics (CASE) at the Erasmus School of Economics has a vacancy for a PhD student. The ambition of CASE is to stimulate high-quality research. The PhD-student will tackle central questions in labour economics by using the sports labour market as a data source. Professional sports offer a fruitful area for labour market research. Using sports data, one can study how incentive schemes stimulate the performance of individual players and the behaviour of teams. One can also study for example whether hiring of better quality management affects team performance. More information vanours@ese.eur.nlor peeters@ese.eur.nl.
